The town of Mezotur is located in eastern Hungary, behind the Tisza river, along the Hortobagy-Berettyo river. The old architectural settlement is famous for its pottery art, as well as the turi fair held during the last week-end of August each year.
The Evangelical Church was built at the end of the 18th century, in Baroque style. The building includes 3000 seats, and can accommodate an additional 1000 people standing.
