The Granit Medicinal- Thermal- and Adventure Bath Complex is located in Zalakaros, in western Hungary, close to Lake Balaton. The local sodium chloride, hydro-carbonate thermal spring was discovered in 1962, and a spa was established a few years later. Over the years, an additional therapy center, an adventure bath and a beach provided further chances for healing and recreation. The spa is open all year round, while the beach section can be visited in season only. Children may enjoy a springboard and a creative tent, as well as a play corner. Adults may choose from a wide variety of wellness- and medicinal treatments. The spa hosts entertainment programs all year around, with special frequency during the summer months.
