The Kis-Balaton Kápolnapusztai Buffalo Conservation Park is situated in between Balatonmogyorod és Kapolnapuszta, on the southwestern corner of Lake Balaton, next to Zalakomar. The conservation park includes 30 hectares of land, and 200-250 buffalos.
The entrance building includes an interactive exhibition about the rich and unique biosphere of this corner of Lake Balaton. In the barn, old pictures and buffalo ranching equipment can be observed. The animals can be observed by a guided nature walk during the summer, and in the barn during the winter. The park is open every day from 9am until dusk.
