Csillaghegyi Beach - Budapest |

The Csillaghegyi Beach or Plage is the oldest of its kind in Budapest, built in the second half of the 19th century, rebuilt to today’s form in 2000. It is located on a hillside, with the swimming pool and the beach pool on the lowest level, the children’s pool and the sunbathing area on an upper area. The swimming pool operates under a tent roof through the winter.
The beach is open from 7am until 5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9am until 8pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and from 7am until 5pm on weekends. By car, it is accessible from the road to Szentendre, by public transportation, the suburb train (HEV) leaving from Batthyany square has a stop in Csillaghegy, and the beach is a few minutes’ walk from the train station.
