Kincsem Park is situated in the eastern part of downtown Budapest, right next to Hungexpo, on 84-hectare ground. Built in 1925, it was the most modern race field of its era. Following extensive renovation work in 2000-2006, facilities now also include a modern stand for 3500 spectactors, a television monitoring system, and an air-conditioned panorama restaurant seating 400. The old buildings reflect the eclesiastical style of the 19th century, while the new wing offers ultramodern equipment. The park is available for special events as well – gala dinners, festivals and exhibitions can be held.
