The Ujpest Railroad Bridge, Újpesti vasúti híd, also called the Northern Railroad Bridge, serves the Budapest-Esztergom rail, taking it over the Danube and a small island – Népsziget. The steel bridge was built in 1894-96, bombed in the Second World War, rebuilt in 1955, and then in 2008.
