Budapest Airport Zrt operates the International Airport at Ferihegy, on the border of Vecses and Budapest, at a 16-kilometer distance, southeast of the capital’s centre. The airport is easy to access on Ulloi avanue and the fast lanes built for the very purpose of reaching the airport quickly from downtown. Hungary has five international airport, of which this is the largest one, operating flights primarily to cities in Europe, but also to Asia, North-America, and the Middle-East.
Terminal 1 hosts charter flights, while terminal 2A operates flights within the schengen-area and terminal 2B out of the schengen-area. Private planes are received in the General Aviation Terminal, located by Terminal 1.
